Morson Covid-19 Support Hub

Our response to COVID-19

In this COVID-19 support hub we will provide updates and helpful links. We now, more than ever, need to stand in partnership, prioritise the safety of ourselves, our colleagues and our families and keep lines of communication open. We have specific pages for employers, workers and information on the #KeepBritainWorking campaign, which aims to protect jobs and preserve livelihoods, for which we are a strategic partner.

As a business rooted in family values, the health and safety of our people, job security and the continuous provision of our operations and suite of services remain our utmost priorities. In these unprecedented times, all of us at Morson are committed to ensuring our clients, candidates, contractors, supply chain and employees feel supported.

Following advice from the UK Government, we are contingency planning and have moved as many people as possible to remote working, to help us ensure the safety of our employees whilst maintaining the service levels that you would expect from us.

We recognise that not all teams can work from home and I want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to those employees and contractors who are on site providing operational continuity.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss the potential impact of COVID-19 on your workforce or operations, please contact us coronavirus@morson.com

Continued service and supporting our clients, candidates and contractors

  • We maintain regular contact with our contractors and candidates to understand the impact on their assignments and opportunities. We are providing guidance and advice to our contractor workforce, including in relation to the UK Government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, as appropriate.

  • We continue to work with our clients to understand the measures they are implementing in response to this situation and are providing a range of solutions to help them during this time. More on our support for clients can be found here.

  • We continue to liaise with our clients to discuss utilisation of technology to facilitate ongoing talent acquisition and management, including the use of video conferencing and remote on-boarding technology for interviewing and onboarding requirements.

  • We have provided our people with systems and guidance on remote working and are maintaining engagement and effective communication with our entire workforce.

  • We have protections and policies in place to ensure the continued security and confidentiality of our data whilst working remotely.

We’re prioritising the safety of our people

  • We have provided our people with systems and guidance on remote working and are maintaining engagement and effective communication with our entire workforce.
  • Consistent with government advice, as we move into a new phase, we are adapting our work spaces to welcome those employees who have been working remotely from home, back to the office safely.
  • Non essential business travel has been suspended, and we continue to advise our employees to follow the relevant government guidance on social distancing.
  • All of our employees have access to dedicated wellbeing and health support services plus we are providing weekly fitness and yoga classes to encourage our people to stay safe and healthy.
